ABOUT US

The Scalia & Oliva farm is located in Salaparuta, in the province of Trapani, an area highly suited to the cultivation of vines and olive trees.
The landscape, culture, history and men of this area are expressed through their wines, which represent the typical aromas and tastes of a Sicily attentive to quality and its territory.

The company was founded in 1999 under the name of "Azienda Agricola Scarcella" by Pietro Scalia, a man who likes to define himself as a "farmer", who loves his territory and who has turned his passion into a job.

It was in 2009 that the company changed its name and Giuseppe Oliva became part of the company, a friend of Pietro Scalia and his brother Salvatore, who, believing in the project, shares the company philosophy.

Today, 12 years later, the Scalia & Oliva company produces 50,000 bottles of high-end wine .

OUR HISTORY

TERROIR

Vini Scalia & Oliva is a company that remains deeply linked to the territory in which it is located.

The land extends around Salaparuta, a small town located in the center of the Belice Valley.

The Valle del Belice, thanks to its predominantly hilly and sunny environment, offers our vines an ideal place to ripen fruits rich in the typical aromas of this land.

The terroir allows for the cultivation of native and allochthonous vineyards, managing to ensure correct plant development in both cases.

The Valle del Belice is also a thriving carpet for the cultivation of olive trees, in particular of the Nocellara del Belice, from which we obtain our pure EVO oil.
